Remembering mukuru wehondo Josiah Magama Tongogara

Having led the ZANLA guerilla forces since the early 1970s Josiah Magama Tongogara apparently died in a car crash in Mozambique on the 26th of December soon after helping the Lancaster House talks go through.

Apparently the Commander was tipped to become President with Robert Mugabe as Prime Minister and intelligence officials from CIA,The Kremlin,Rhodesia,Mozambique et al largely commended the car crash as a farce pointing rather large fingers at his party and peers. His cause of death might never be clear but whats clear is big homey is a pillar of Zimbabwe and more needs to be done to celebrate him.

The National Art Gallery exhibtion was a good start as was the renaming of KG6 barracks to his name.Hopefully in time films, songs and documentaries about the illustrious commander will be made.Rest In Peace General
